Luffy sat giving at the top of the crows nest on the Going Merry. “An island! Look an island!” he cried. The crew had been lost for a month after leaving Alabarna and everybody really wanted to get off the ship. Nami walked out of the cabin first. “The Lockpost should have marked that there would have been an island around here,” she said. Nico Robin followed her out. The crew was still suspicious about her but had no way to do anything about it. “The Lockposts can’t always be trusted since we don’t know everything that there is in the Great Blue.” In the cabin Zoro got up from his nap and looked at Ussop who was fooling around with his slingshot. “Where are we?” Zoro asked. “I don’t know but I hope I can finally get onto some dry land. This ship is starting to make even the mighty Ussop feel woozy!” Sanji walked out of the kitchen to see what all of the commotion was about. “I don’t really care where we are, as long as we can get some more food. You guys and Luffy are eating us out of heart and home.” Zoro stared angrily “Maybe if you gave us better food, we wouldn’t want more!” Smack! Sanji’s boot connected with Zoro’s face sending him flying into the back of the room. “I cook the best food in the Grand Line, you guys are just too dumb to notice!” Chopper got up off of the table. “Guys! It would be really bad if we broke the ship now. Were also running low on medicine!” Nami walked back into the cabin. “Maybe if they didn’t get hurt so often, we wouldn’t need to spend so much berri on medical supplies!” Sanji floated up next to Nami. “A look at you can cure any of my wounds!” Nami pushed Sanji away and sat down in the cabin. “Hey!” yelled Luffy, “Were here!” The rubber boy jumped down from the crows nest and fell through the ship with a loud crash. Nico Robin shook her head and smiled. This was supposed to be the next King of the Pirates? The entire crew, except Sanji, ran out. “Luffy!” said Nami angrily, “you can be too reckless! You really need to learn to better care of yourself like I do!” From the kitchen, Sanji yelled “Because I’d never let anything happen to Nami!” Luffy jumped out of the hole. “Let’s go and explore the island now, guys!” Ussop groaned. “Now I need to find some wood to fix up the ship. Thanks you idiot!” he said hitting Luffy on the head. “Don’t forget to bring some food for me to cook!” yelled Sanji from below. Chopper set off with Ussop to help find wood to repair the ship. They wandered the forest. “Amazing!” said Ussop “I’ve never heard of these trees before!” he said looking at the giant orange palm trees. He knocked on the bark and then pulled out an axe. He took a swing and the head of the axe shattered. “Wow! This really is strong wood!” he laughed. “I think I need some help Chopper!” Chopper transformed into his muscle form and easily uprooted the tree. Chopper and Ussop suddenly heard a family of birds fly from the top of the tree. “Oh now!” cried Chopper “I destroyed their home!” He put the tree back into the ground. Ussop put his hand on Chopper’s back. “It’s okay. I saved some wood just in case this would happen.” Chopper and Ussop decided it was time to return to the ship. Meanwhile Luffy and Nami had gone on to look for fresh water. “Here water!” yelled Luffy. His voice frightened several birds. Nami smacked his skull “We need to be careful. We don’t want to wake any animals here!” Suddenly Luffy looked up at Nami. “I guess you are right Nami. I think I hear a stream over in that direction.” “That’s weird,” thought Nami, “Luffy usually doesn’t care about what he does and now he apologized to me?” She followed him to the water and they filled up the canteens and returned to camp. Zoro and Robin had gone out to find the meat. “There’s nothing here except for trees and birds!” Zoro said angrily. “Fine. Just grab us some birds and then we can go,” said Nico Robin. “I have a bad feeling about this island,” she thought to herself. “Hey, Robin!” said Zoro, “I need help getting up this tree. Could you help me?” Robin was a bit surprised but used her Devil Fruit powers to help Zoro reach to the top of the tree easily. He quickly killed a few of the birds and they returned to the ship. “How can I cook these?” said Sanji holding up on of the birds. It looked like a mix between and starved raven and a parrot. “There’s not meat on any of these things! I can’t even figure how they were able to fly!” He starred angrily at Zoro. “What?” said Zoro. Sanji noticed that his hair had grown a bit since he had last seen him. “Weird” he told himself. On deck, Chopper and Ussop were fixing the ship. Nami starred at the them. “Now Chopper, first you raise the hammer slightly above the nail and. . .” Something about Ussop’s appearance was troubling Nami. His nose definitely seemed shorter and while she thought of it, Chopper seemed a little taller. Robin meanwhile was looking at one of the books Cobra had given her. “The Imako Alam bird is a bird known to curse those who disturb its natural habitat,” she read to herself. “What are you reading Robin?” asked Luffy. Robin was surprised. Even though she had only been on the ship for a while, Luffy usually barged into whatever room he came inside and while she though about it, Luffy’s scar that he had given himself years ago was gone! Meanwhile, Sanji ended up preparing the birds anyways but he stayed away from them. “Freaking birds is for the birds,” he told himself. He had starved himself before when he met Zef and this wasn’t nearly as difficult. He stepped out into the cabin. The entire crew had passed out on the table. “Aw crap!” Sanji told himself, “I poisoned them all!” He walked over to Nami. He chuckled “No better time to see what she looks like under those clothes!” Just as he was about to touch her though, Nami shot him a glare. It didn’t look exactly like Nami though. Sanji had always studied her in his mind. For one thing, her hair was longer, her nose was also shorter and she looked younger.
